Turtle Merit Stamp

Celebrate children’s effort and positive choices with the Turtle Merit Stamp. This 36mm self-inking stamp adds encouragement to everyday learning, nature activities and group experiences.

Encourage little learners to keep moving forward with the Turtle Merit Stamp, a fun addition to everyday learning. The friendly turtle design provides a simple visual way to recognise effort, participation and positive choices.

Pair it with our NAIDOC Yarning Cards, Natural Wooden Boomerang Shapes and Paper Faces for creative learning experiences. Together, these resources encourage storytelling, cultural exploration, imaginative play and conversations about identity and community.

Educators can use the stamp after children show kindness, persistence, cooperation or enthusiasm during activities. It can also recognise children who contribute ideas, help others or confidently attempt something new.

Positive acknowledgement helps children feel valued while building confidence in their developing abilities. Turtle themed activities provide opportunities to explore Australian wildlife, habitats, waterways and caring for the natural environment.

These experiences support EYLF style outcomes by encouraging identity, belonging, relationships and confident participation. Children can share family stories about pets, wildlife, holidays, beaches or outdoor adventures.

Such conversations help connect children’s learning with their families, experiences and the world around them. Educators can introduce new vocabulary while discussing turtle features, movement, habitats and environmental care.

This adds educational value while encouraging curiosity, observation, questioning and communication skills. Using a stamp also encourages controlled hand movements, supporting coordination and fine motor development.

Children can proudly see their efforts recognised throughout the day, reinforcing positive connections with learning. The stamp suits childcare centres, preschools, classrooms and home learning environments. It offers an easy and cheerful way to celebrate progress while encouraging children to keep trying.
