They are really cool because they don’t just look like a regular rolling pin, but they also have patterns on them. My legend of a Mum taught me how to use patterned rolling pins in the kitchen so I thought I’d share my top 3 fun ways to use them!
- Make Cookies! I like to roll out cookie dough and then use the patterned rolling pin to create patterns into it before I cut out shapes. It’s super fun and makes the cookies taste so much better!
- Make Playdough! I also used my patterned rolling pins to make playdough. It makes awesome shapes and I can use the pins for other art projects after I’m done.
- Get Creative! If I’m feeling especially creative, I like to experiment with Air Dry Clay with designs with my patterned rolling pin. I never know what I’ll come up with but it’s always so much fun trying to figure it out!
