Sand Art, Sand Art, Sand Art..
An enjoyable and fun activity, every kid will give sand art a go and love it, even the boys !
- Simply peel the paper cover off the area you want to start with
- Sprinkle coloured sand onto the sticky area
- Remove the excess by tapping the card
- Pour the excess sand back into the sand container
- Repeat for each part of the picture you want to decorate.
Kids just love Sand Art and we have over 100 + different sand art cards to choose from with varying levels. If you have a theme, we will probably have a card to suit.
Usually the ‘busier’ the card with the more cuts and sections, indicates that the card is for the older or more experienced artist. Some younger children are rather creative though so it is always good to ask if they have done sand art before. Our Sydney Harbour Card is our most popular card, and also one of the hardest.
Remember that by using Sand Trays it will help to contain the sand.
Shrink Art
Shrink Art is a great product to have in the cupboard for those rainy OOSH days and you need the perfect craft activities for primary school aged children to keen them entertained!
Plain Shrinky Dink sheets can be used by the children to freehand draw on the rough side. Decorating the plastic sheet with their name can be made into school bag ‘Bag Tags’. Make sure you hole punch the Shrink Art before shrinking!!
Plain sheets can also be used to trace over images. The most popular images that are traced include theme days such as Easter, Halloween, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and Christmas.
Older children really enjoy tracing using an image from an adult colouring book. This may take the child several hours to complete and the end result is mind blowing and something to be very proud of.
Shrink Art can be made into keyrings, earrings, bag tags, necklaces or anklets.

Plaster Painting
An oldie but a goodie !
One of our specialties is theme days and with over 1000 plaster moulds we have a mould for just about anything. Most popular themes are Under the Sea, Princesses and Fairies, Dinosaurs, Lego Men, Farm Animals and Halloween. Primary school kids have so much hidden talent and this talent can shine when they are given the time to sit and paint.
Let the kids experiment by mixing colours on paper plates.
Listen to the creative silence as the kids concentrate, aaaaggghhh bliss.
